Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide short-term support to our team. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly adapt, manage multiple tasks, and help maintain efficient daily operations. The Temporary Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties to ensure smooth workflow across the department.
Compensation and Schedule:
Hourly rate: $20-$22
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 7AM-4PM or 8AM-5PM
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
· Assist with document creation, editing, formatting, and filing (digital and physical).
· Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials as needed.
· Support data entry, record-keeping, and database maintenance.
· Help organize and maintain office supplies and inventory.
· Assist with onboarding support for temporary staff or contractors.
· Coordinate small projects, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
· Handle confidential information with discretion.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in an administrative, office assistant, or clerical role.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office technology.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· High level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion.
· Adaptability to learn processes and systems quickly.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
· Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or other collaboration tools.
· Experience supporting business operations, HR, finance, or project-based workflows.
· Familiarity with CRM or internal business systems (specify if known).
Work Environment:
· Standard office setting with regular use of computers and office equipment.
· Occasional need to lift file boxes or supplies (up to 20 lbs).
